We perform every DNA test twice. Through our special, proprietary Dual Process™, we run every test twice to eliminate the possibility of laboratory error, thus ensuring 100% accurate results. When the samples for a test arrive at our laboratory, they are carefully split into two groups for independent testing by two separate teams. Each team runs the samples through every step in the DNA testing process, carefully recording the steps as they go. When the two tests are completed, one of our laboratory directors compares the results to ensure they match. This built-in double-checking process helps rule out false results. Combined with our Biomek® FX and Biomek® 2000 robotics systems, which automate the DNA preparation steps and reduce the possibility of human error, our Dual Process enables us to achieve accurate results you can trust.
We perform extended testing and analysis when needed. Factors such as motherless paternity tests and genetic mutations can cause unexpected DNA test results. Our expert DNA analysts have the experience necessary to recognise unusual test results and, when needed, will test additional DNA markers to achieve conclusive, trustworthy results. Every time a caller enquires about a test, we verify that he or she is authorised by requesting specific pieces of information that are unique to the case. In addition, we never release test results by telephone. Furthermore, we will be sure to carefully follow any special instructions you provide about how we should communicate with you about your DNA test.
